A Quick Hello - Maybe I'm Back

It's been well over a year since I've blogged so I thought I would just pop in to say hello. My last post was on November 24, 2014 and I mentioned how I would make a video to explain why I've been absent. Well, that didn't happen and I went all of 2015 without making one post or youtube video.
The short story is, I became a wife and part homeowner (that means mortgage) at the end of 2014 and my priorities changed a bit. I was also  plenty busy with my etsy shop and I was a vendor at  Hyde Park Handmade Artisan Bazaar  almost every month last year. That means I was making lots of jewelry. I was also taking on some temps jobs. Last year was pretty full year so blogging and making videos took a back seat.

I can't say how often I'll blog and/or youtube this year.  Though I have been trying out some pretty cool products lately. Especially the Korean beauty stuff which really blew up last year. I've bought my fair share of sheet masks, essences, and ampoules and some of them are really fantastic. Most of my purchases have come from Memebox but I've tried a few other shops too.

I've also been experimenting with different hair products and I think I've found a couple of holy grails including TGIN Honey Miracle Hair Mask; my hair LOVES it.  FYI, tgin products are buy 2, get 1 free at Sally Beauty Supply through January.

So, perhaps I'll post here and there with updates and some of my latest faves. We'll see! Stay tuned until then.

Conscious Box via Pure Citizen (unboxing #3)

Here is the video of me opening my third (1 of 3) Conscious Box, which I  got as part of an offer on a site called Pure Citizen. Check out this post HERE to see what was in my first box and to learn more about these companies. And I will link the other videos/posts so that you can see all three. Feel free to rate (video), subscribe comment (here or on the video).

                              Unboxing #1
                              Unboxing #2

A few things got mixed around as I took pics so you might see items here
that that are not in the vid. What I've already sampled is:
Wild Rose Aromatherapy Balancing mosturizing - I enjoyed this
                               essential oil blend
RW Garcia Dippers - these are basically tortilla chips that are made to
dip.  I liked them a lot. I don't think I would use them for dipping since they're
                               so flavorful.
Clandestino Banana Bar - I tasted and of course I did not like it. Like
I said in the video, I like my bananas straight up. Not mixed with anything
Geodeo deodorant - I've use this before and like it.

Conscious Box via Pure Citizen (unboxing #2)

Here is the video of me opening my second (1 of 3) Conscious Box, which I  got as part of an offer on a site called Pure Citizen. Check out this post HERE to see what was in my first box and to learn more about these companies. And I will link the other videos/posts so that you can see them all. Feel free to rate (video), subscribe comment (here or on the video).

I've only sampled the kale chips so far and they were pretty good.
And as I mentioned in the video, I've tried the Eco-dent dental products
before. And I do like them.
I've given the pet products away.

Flakes of kale chips were all over the box

Conscious Box via Pure Citizen (unboxing #1)

A couple weeks ago I posted about a deal which was 3 Conscious Boxes for $29.95 via Pure Citizen. I purchased that deal and got my 3 Conscious Boxes about a week later. I was really pleased with my boxes and made videos of me opening all three. I decided to split the videos up because there were quite a few items in each box.  And I didn't want to have my videos go over ten minutes. So here is the video of what was in the first box. And I will link the other videos/posts so that you can see them all. Feel free to rate (video), subscribe comment (here or youtube).

that that are not in the vid. What I've already sampled is:

Barlean's Fish Oil -tastes pretty good but a little fishy in the end

Avalon Organics Shower Gel and Lotion- the shower gel cleansed
well (not much lather) and the lotion was lightly moisturizing. The lavender
                               smell was mild.

Joy's Teaspoon Lemon Zest tea- I really .liked this blend.  The tea
was loose leaf in a filter bag and tasted very fresh.

Maybe I'll Give False Eyelashes Another Try!

I have tried and failed time after time with trying to apply false eyelashes. I have used the strip versions, the clusters, and the individuals and I always manage to make mistakes while putting them own. I either apply them too high on the lid, or too low and I just end up looking like a clown - especially with the strips. Needless to say I have pretty much given up on the false eyelashes. Besides, I just wanted to try them out for fun so it's not such a big deal. However, I came across these (below) videos that someone posted on a blog and they were a bit long (like eight minutes or more) but they made me want to give false eyelashes another try-if he can do it, why can't I? Right?
So I will give another go and I'll make sure to post pictures If my umpteenth attempt. Hopefully there will be victory.
P.S. the music and the intros make me laugh just because I'm silly.
