Quick & Simple Pre-Workout Snack Balls

I whipped up this quick snack the other day and thought I would share. I call it a pre-workout snack because that's basically how I use it. Of course you can eat them at anytime though. And this was not a well planned out recipe situation. I simply used items that were in my fridge and kinda threw them together. No measuring, just eyeballing.
Ingredients:
Granola (whole foods bulk)
Peanut Butter (Whole Foods 365 no sugar added)
Cacao Nibs
Coconut Oil
Flaxseed
Chia Seeds
Hemp Seed Hearts (Manitoba Harvest)
Cinnamon
Drizzle of honey to bind

I mixed all of the ingredients together and let the mixture sit in the fridge for a few hours. I them scooped spoonfuls of the mixture and rolled them into balls. And I had to add a drizzle of honey to mixture, before rolling, to help bind. Then,  I sprinkled a little more chia on the balls to make them less sticky.  And that was all. They taste great and give me the energy I need for a good workout.I will definitely make these again and a few other versions. I'm thinking dates, nuts, goji, some whole grains....There are so many possibilities.
Let me know what you think.

Birthday Haul - Pacifica, Sephora, Goodwill, and More!

My birthday was on July 27th and I just wanted to show a couple of the things I got. And I'm focusing more on birthday perks/rewards from some of the companies I follow than actual gifts. FYI, I filmed this video a while ago but have just been able to successfully get it off of my camera *sigh* Thankfully, I was able to upload it before the end of this month. Check it out to find out more. Please rate and subscribe. And please watch in HD. Oh, and I'm at the beau's place here.

Beauty Bargain Find: Elf Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick

So, I was walking around Target yesterday and I came across these Elf Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks. They were on clearance for $1.74 while the regular retail price is $2.00. I think they were marked down because some of the pencils' crayons were separating from the base. The pencils I bought were in perfect condition though. Yay!
Although I REALLY don't need another cosmetic item. Ah, we'll. I'm such a sucker for clearance

Evolvh Ultrashine Moisture Conditioner (2oz Trial Size) full size retails for @25
So glad for this ample size of conditioner. Much better than the little sample packets that never have enough product to use on my whole head. Smells really nice too-kinda like Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan

derma e Hydrating Mist (2oz trial size) full size retails for $13.50
Nice refreshing mist, very hydrating. I tend to be oily so I could probably use this in place of moisturizer.
It has a slightly perfume-y scent that smells just like Plumeria.

Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick (0.03 oz full size retails for $22
Always excited to get lip products in my box. This is a nice blue-red. I'll need to play around with it to see how to wear it best. Dries matte and yes it has lasting power.

Whish Exfoliating Body Wash (.75oz trial) full size retails for $22
Gently exfoliation and smells very coconut-y and tropical.

Whish Hair Inhibiting Deodorant Swipes (1 swipe) full size retails for $16
