More Color in 2013

I was checking out my etsy shop the other day, on my phone.  I was going to do a screen shot of my newer items and post it on Instagram. Then I dawned on me that I was seriously lacking color. Most of my items are metal these days but I have one newer item (Beaded Hoops w/citrine)  that is made of randomly placed seed beads. They're pretty simple in design but the colors make them pop. So I decided that I want to do a little more with colors this year. And maybe use some colors that I tend to stay away from. So stay tuned to see what new creations I come up with.

I entered the Koils By Nature Pinterest contest last month, and I won. YAY! I've used one of their products before and I really liked it so I'm excited to try other items from the line. January Birchbox 2013 Unboxing

It's the first Birchbox of the year! 3 Years Natural and Oh...Happy New Year!

Hi all! I know I'm late but Happy New Year! I hope the year is starting off well for you and that you accomplish all that you set out to do this year. I don't generally do resolutions but I do have some things that I want to happen this year and in years to come. Perhaps I will do a post about it.

In other news I am 3 years natural (wearing my hair's natural texture and relaxer-free) as of yesterday. I did a quick iPhone video about it and the quality is not great so you might have to crank up the volume. See in the next post!

December Birchbox 2012 Unboxing

I got my Birchbox last Tuesday, filmed this video the next day (at the beau's place), and I planned on uploading this video on Friday. Didn't quite work out that way though. November 2012 Naturebox Unboxing

My favorites were the almonds, granola and the pumpkin seeds.  Overall I think this is a great box to try, especially if you love healthy snacks or if you want to start switching out some that junk food. And as I said in the video, you could easily spend $20 on this amount of product at the store so I believe Naturebox is well worth $19.95.

                               A few things got mixed around as I took pics so you might see items here
                               that that are not in the vid. What I've already sampled is:
                               Wild Rose Aromatherapy Balancing mosturizing - I enjoyed this
                               essential oil blend
                               RW Garcia Dippers - these are basically tortilla chips that are made to
                               dip.  I liked them a lot. I don't think I would use them for dipping since they're
                               so flavorful.
                              Clandestino Banana Bar - I tasted and of course I did not like it. Like
                              I said in the video, I like my bananas straight up. Not mixed with anything
                              Geodeo deodorant - I've use this before and like it.

                               I've only sampled the kale chips so far and they were pretty good.
                               And as I mentioned in the video, I've tried the Eco-dent dental products
                               before. And I do like them.

                               Barlean's Fish Oil -tastes pretty good but a little fishy in the end

                               Avalon Organics Shower Gel and Lotion- the shower gel cleansed
                               well (not much lather) and the lotion was lightly moisturizing. The lavender
                               smell was mild.
                           
                               Joy's Teaspoon Lemon Zest tea- I really .liked this blend.  The tea
                              was loose leaf in a filter bag and tasted very fresh.
