Upcoming Event: BGLH Chicago Naturals Spring Swap Meet

On Sunday,  April 29th, I'll be vending a the BGLH Chicago Naturals Spring Swap Meet. I'll have jewelry,  from my etsy shop , at a discounted price and brand new designs. I'll also have a few hair products to giveaway (with jewelry purchase) or swap/sell. It should be a really fun time and I hope to see you there.

I'm On Essence.com!

This past weekend I was a vendor at the Black Girl Long Hair Christmas fest. And photographers were there taking photos for Essence.com. I took a picture but didn't think it would end up on Essence's site. I checked my email today and saw that the photos were up and was surprised to see myself in the gallery. Number 36 to be exact.  And it wasn't a bad photo either (I usually take bad photos or photos that I think are bad).  I could have used a little powder on the nose and forehead. But the hair looked good. Check out the photos HERE.

Event: Black Girl With Long Hair Chicago Naturals Christmas Fest

On Saturday, December 10, 2011, I will be vending at the Chicago Naturals Christmas Fest Sponsored by Taliah Waajid
If your are in the Chicagoland area, please stop by. There will be plenty of vendors with lots of handmade goodies. And I
I'll lots of new items including more rings, recycled leather cuffs and earrings. I hope to see you there.

The Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup is Tomorrow!

In a previous post I mentioned that I would be vending at the Chicago Natural Beauty Meetup and today is the last day to rsvp. This meetup is hosted by Rachel Odem who is an expert in skincare and make up. Also, Patrice Grell Yursik of Afrobella Blog and Leila Noelliste of Black Girl Long Hair will be there to hold a natural hair/blog panel discussion. Hi everyone! I will be selling my jewelry at two events this month. One of the events is the Indie In The Windy City handcrafted Market. This fair takes place on Saturday May 8, 2010 and the hours are from 10am-4pm. The location is at The Chelsea House-920 W. Wilson Ave, Chicago. Please stop by if you get a chance.


The second event is Black Girl Long Hair's Natural Hair Meet up Which will take place on May 15, 2010 at
